As a Design Engineer at Birk Manufacturing, Jack Barrows plays a key role in creating innovative solutions for customers. He is responsible for designing custom heaters and the tooling needed for their production, providing expert guidance to customers on heater design and functionality, and addressing technical challenges to ensure optimal performance. Jack’s attention to detail and commitment to collaboration make him an invaluable resource for both internal teams and external partners.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is IPC certified to J-STD-001. He has also received training in finite element analysis with a focus on thermal simulation, equipping him with advanced tools for precise and efficient designs. Outside of work, Jack enjoys designing and 3D printing functional and decorative items, solving puzzles, and traveling to Vermont to spend time with family and friends.
