Temperature Management Value-Added Options

Whether you need a standard sensor with a different wire length or help designing a custom sensor assembly tailored to your specific needs, Birk has you covered. Birk offers a range of value-added options, allowing you to integrate RTDs, thermocouples, and thermistors into probes, ring and screw terminals (bolt-on), or surface mount attachments. These options ensure you can position the sensors precisely where needed for the most accurate measurements.

Birk’s High Temperature Probes are designed to complement our range of sensors, providing versatile temperature sensing solutions for a wide swathe of applications. These probes are ideal for installations in channels, thermowells, organic liquids, salt solutions, acids, and bases.

Our High Temperature probes feature Teflon® lead wiring, which allows for a smaller profile and offers excellent resistance to chemical seepage. For applications requiring higher temperature ranges and greater flexibility, these probes can be assembled with fiberglass lead wires for use with Thermocouple sensors.

To meet your specific requirements, we offer customizable options in various probe lengths, diameters, termination, connections and fittings, ensuring a perfect fit for your application needs.

Birk’s bolt-on assemblies are engineered for easy installation, making them ideal for process-control testing and verifying existing systems. These assemblies can be retrofitted to existing machinery, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced performance.

Our bolt-on assemblies are available with either a brass lug or a nickel-plated copper ring terminal, tailored to meet your specific application needs.

Birk’s surface mount assemblies enable ease of installation for industrial applications that require constant temperature measurement at sensitive locations.

These assemblies are encapsulated in either Kapton® Polyimide or Silicone. Kapton® encapsulation is suitable for applications that require a lightweight, long-term, and cost-effective solution for thermal management.

Both options are manufactured to the highest quality level, ensuring your sensor stays secure and protected, no matter the application. Surface mounts can be configured by ohms, lead length, number of leads and backing options such as pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA), foil, or a combination of the two.
